It's not like I was some kind of extrovert before this shit went down
Now my standard scope of death and terror that once kept me awake is paralyzing now
Trying to stay positive and appreciate all the time with Sarah & the dogs
But I would be lying if I said I hadn't taken up prayin' to everyone of the gods

Mother mother nature you can be a cruel bitch
But that doesn't mean that we probably don't deserve this

That said, this is a plea for mercy we are worthy of

Wave after wave of inundating information spun in every way
My skepticism of this antiquated system makes my schitzoaffective think there's conspiracies at play
Tryin' to keep positive wonderin' if our new record will ever come out
But I would be lying if I said it was an easy year but we still made something I'm fuckin' proud about
